About Us

The Cape Cod Ukulele Club is lead by Cathy Hatch and began in 2014. The Lower Cape group meets once a week (Tuesdays 7-8:30pm) at Harwich Community Center, 100 Oak Street Harwich, MA. In 2020, we added another location and day to practice. Wednesday nights at 6:30pm Upper Cape Practice at Quaker Meetinghouse Community Building at 6 Quaker Road, East Sandwich. Ukulele players should know the basic 8 Chords- G-A-C-D-F-Em-Am-Dm. Beginners are always welcome and encouraged.

Cape Cod Ukulele Club performs local shows which include: Eastham CapeAbilities, Pleasant Bay Nursing Home, The Woodlands Assisted Living, and the Memory Unit at Maplewood of Brewster. Every other month we also perform at The Royal Megansett in North Falmouth.

The group is about having fun and playing good music. Harmonicas, kazoos, train whistles, various noisemakers, general silliness, and fits of laughter occur at any practice or show. We have been described as Hee Haw but with ukuleles.
